This year's Festival will be the fifth edition of Buatsch in the small mountain village called Tersnaus. We have the opportunity to be guests and to install our lighting console, cooking pots, stage, beer tap, tents, pizza oven, and much more. The two-day Buatsch festival (Romansh for cowdung) takes place around the village fountain, in the church, in old barns, and in the free-stall barn, which is empty during the summer months because the cows are up on the alpine area. We are thrilled to fill these spaces with music, art, and people, while remaining fully aware that this is a place where people live and work. While music is playing on the stage, hay might be being harvested just next door. At Buatsch, the mountain village shouldn't just be a backdrop; rather, the two should become part of one another. We hope to leave behind beautiful, lasting impressions—both on our visitors and within the village community.

Food & Drinks
Our environment and all its inhabitants are very important for us. That is why almost all the food at the festival is organic and vegetarian or vegan. The animal products we do offer come from the Albin organic farm and the local region. They may be enjoyed with gratefulness and respect toward the animals.

  • Friday and Saturday evening: Communal dinner, prepared by various cooking collectives.

  • Saturday and Sunday morning: Breakfast.

  • In between: There will be pizza, homemade sausages, and many more delicious things.

  • If you have food intolerances, let us know in advance.

Payment
Please bring cash. Twint is available as a backup.

Festival Rules
The festival takes place on an organic farm. Therefore, it is very important not to leave any trash behind: no glass on the festival grounds, no cigarette butts in the grass, and due to fire hazards, smoking is strictly forbidden in all indoor spaces.

Accessibility
The festival takes place on a working farm; on meadows, in barns, on uneven ground, and at various locations throughout the village. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make the entire festival grounds wheelchair accessible.

Please feel free to contact us by email so that we can:

  • Arrange a shuttle time from the PostBus stop to the festival grounds for you,

  • Describe the layout of the grounds and find solutions together,

  • Help organize alternative sleeping arrangements for you,

  • Help find a guide/companion if you have a visual impairment.

The festival will not be translated into sign language. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out to us as well.

The Lidimer association, which organizes the Buatsch festival, accepts no liability during the event.
